Techniques from tai chi, ballet, pilates, and physiotherapy are combined to help you improve posture, prevent injuries, gain body awareness, enhance mobility and increase flexibility. Mat/Barre Fusion

With a focus on postural strength and alignment this class combines the core stabilizing benefits of Pilates with the muscle toning effects of Ballet Barre which emphasizes movement and strength in the lower body. This class will have your abs and glutes working hard and in harmony!

*Available as part of the Sunrise Program

Using a combination of postures inspired by ballet and other disciplines like yoga and Pilates, the barre is used as a prop to balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training (holding your body still while you contract a specific set of muscles) combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements. Classes may also incorporate light handheld weights for a little extra "burn" and to elevate targeting you core.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga supports and stimulates the nervous system and connection with your body in a way that promotes relaxation, stress relief and overall well-being. Using longer holds with all poses, this class will utilize a variety of props to fully support the body so that you can let go and experience true bliss.

Suitable for all levels. Great for those with injuries, limitations or conditions that require movement modifications.

Different from the mat, this class uses spring loaded equipment to strengthen and lengthen. While the springs may appear similar to those on the Reformer, the feeling is completely different. Each limb works independently, carrying its own weight. Additionally, the positioning of the springs (higher, and behind you), creates considerable instability, forcing you to deeply isolate your core muscles, as well as enabling you to feel and correct the imbalance between sides. Workouts on the Springwall will help you improve balance, strength, flexibility, and profoundly increase the connection with your core, as well as the mindfulness of your movements. Suitable for all levels of physicality and strength from rehabilitative, to de-conditioned, to trained, to elite.

SpringWalls are limited - sign up to reserve one.

*Available as part of the Sunrise Program

The misconception that exists with Rowing – “it’s all arms “– exists with Boxing too.  In fact, like Rowing, Boxing is about using your legs and core and finding power in your breath.  In this class, you will learn the basics of throwing a punch by developing the ability to generate power from your legs, as you rotate through your core and hips, and then punch.  Add to that, a series of exercises that is never the same thing twice – from sprint rowing, to quick feet on the agility ladder, to muscle strengthening on the equalizer bars, to ropes, to dynamic plyometrics that focus on strength and isometric muscle conditioning, you will feel the burn.   One class that boosts your power, increases balance and stability, and greatly improves functional movement, while using your Pilates breath.  It’s not a coincidence that Joseph Pilates was a boxer before he even opened his first Pilates studio.…………that is why we think boxing in a pilates studio is perfection.
